My family and friends know that the holidays are my favorite excuse to celebrate life and all that it has to offer. LIFE is truely one of the best 4 letter words in our language it's right there with LOVE....
I want to encourage everyone to embrace Thanksgiving and all that goes with it, yes the good and sad.
Many of us know several someones who has lost loved ones that are so near and dear to them. The thought of facing a holiday without them stirs up so much emotion. Be sure to include them in ways that let them know you are aware of their pain.
I know I will not be able to list every kind gesture that has been sent my way, but each one is special and holds a special place in my heart and memory.
Each of the visits, cards, stones, prayer requests & lists, care packages, books & coloring books, lunches, trips to Doctors appointments and chemo trips, calls, emails and private im's, gifts, watering of my flowers/plants and vases full of gorgeous flowers, lotions and dark chocolate candy all conveyed your encouragement with so much love and caring. Thank you just doesn't cover it.
So as we travel, spend hours cooking and cleaning for your family and friends... smile and remember those very actions are our way of showing how grateful we are to those people and what they mean to us.
