Born a Capricorn at the end of the baby boom 1961. So I am enjoying the being in my Nifty 50's.
I consider myself pretty open-minded and always try to respect all forms of life and beliefs.
Many call me opinionated, I rather like to think I am "passionate" about ideas and opinions.
I really enjoy connecting with people, good conversations, but on a one on one basis, as to really get to know them.
I have a very strong inner core, and only now learning about self-care and how best to nurture it.
Several of my health issues, have been known to slow me down a bit. I have chosen to embrace this as part of my self care while not allowing them to stop me.
I feel a deep love and connection to the natural world. Trees and water are very special to me. I feel a deep connection to them, and often stop to reflect on them both as I pass them by on my walks. I love our wildlife neighbors. I like to study animals, both their natural lives and their spiritual, symbolic meanings. I currently have an affinity for wolves.
Birds are my favorite, with certain birds appearing to me in order to warn or simply say-
everything is a-ok!
The owl has been my announcer and letting me know it is a time for Change.
I’m am empath and highly sensitive. I get overwhelmed in both tears and laughter.
As a larger woman, my yoga poses are limited and yet I still find my grounded center. I cannot imagine my life without yoga anymore.
Music, I love many genres with from new age, rock & roll and country. Yanni opened the door for new age music for me.
Colors, I am most drawn to purples, blues and greens, but do enjoy all colors of the palette.
I was raised in a very conservative environment. As I grew older found myself seeking and drawn to others that encouraged me to be a free thinker and question what didn't resonate as true.
Not much of a TV watcher but I do love happy ending movies and if I had to pick one station it would have to be Hallmark movies channel.
The Series NCIS and NCIS New Orleans were created just for me, I am convinced. Each show brings laughs, cries, clapping and talking back to the TV and I consider them an investment in me.
